Susan & Arun Wedding:: Nuevo Vallarta, Mexico

There is something transformative about destination weddings that you have to experience to fully understand. Laughs are louder, hugs are tighter, tears come more easily.  Emotions are more intense and everything is more beautiful.  Life is colorful again.

It takes a significant amount of time and money to attend an international destination wedding.  Old friends from high school whom you haven't seen in 10 years just aren't going to make the sacrifice.  It is not a decision that comes lightly; those who do make the trek do it because they love and respect you and believe in your committment.  And, people who have made that investment are going to make sure that they WILL have a good time.  Period.

Which says a lot about Susan and Arun.  More than a 100 guests flew into Mexico from as far away as New York and India, to attend the wedding at Casa China Blanca in Nuevo Vallarta, Mexico.  It says a lot about the friendships they've made over the years and their strong family bond.

I've known Susan for the better part of a decade, and I was thrilled and excited when I learned about her engagement.  Susan is one of the kindest, thoughtful, and most genuine people I know.  And she is one lucky gal to have found a guy like Arun.  He's smart, funny, and knows how to have a good time.

Oftentimes, weddings are sporadically punctuated by moments.  But in Susan and Arun's case, it was as if the entire event was a two-day long moment.  The emotions were raw, the people were beautiful, and the alcohol was flowing.  I'm honored to have been a part of it.  Here are a few select images from the day.  More to come soon.

Kiet - if this is a sample of what's yet to come, I can't wait! Your writeup is in itself beautiful but the photographs go beyond that. They capture the special moments, the joy and happiness that was in all our hearts - family and friends alike. Thank you!
